Tribe of the Red Horse – Celebration of the Music of Neil Young – EARLY SHOW!$15 – $18
Tribe of The Red Horse delivers the guitar tone, harmonies and raw energy that Neil Young and Crazy Horse are known and loved for. Or, as the band’s singer/guitarist, Wayne Whitzell puts it, “We don’t play dress-up. We play rock ’n’ roll.”
This is a rare and special show featuring an EXTENDED SOLO ACOUSTIC SHOW followed by a rockin’ FULL BAND ELECTRIC SHOW. The Tribe only performs these combo shows a few times per year so don’t miss out! The first show is an intimate solo acoustic set featuring songs such as Heart of Gold, Harvest Moon, Old Man, Sugar Mountain, and many more. For the second show, the Tribe will be pulling out all the stops and performing hits like Rockin’ In The Free World, Like A Hurricane, Southern Man, Ohio, Down by The River, and other great Neil classics. Purchase a discounted ticket to attend both shows for a full night of Neil.
“The solo acoustic sets are very intimate and special” says Whitzell, “we don’t do it that often and the venue has to be the right place to honor that material appropriately. Of course, our second set is a blazing full throttle set of Crazy Horse material,” Whitzell laughs, “We have to shake the building’s foundation a little or it wouldn’t be Crazy Horse.”
Check out these live videos from the Tribe. They are the real deal!
Just an acoustic treat from the last time we were at the Sutter Creek Theater. (One of our favorite places to play because the Sutter Creek Theater folks are amazing and the crowds mixed with the band have made for some of our finest shows.) Our upcoming show on May 14th will be 'Take No Prisoners' Neil Young and Crazy Horse! You've ben warned. Get your tickets now. See ya at the Safety Meeting!
